Vin del Fattore, Governo all'Uso Toscano, Sangiovese Maremma Toscana, DOC, 2023

The Governo steps here see a freshly fermented must from a short maceration added to the portion of fermenting, partially dried grapes. The wine has a deep purple-ruby, opaque color. The nose is of medium-plus intensity showing lifted aromatics of cassis, red plum reduction, cedar and mint. The palate is dry with a medium acidity, a medium-minus extract, medium soft medium-textured tannins, a medium body and nice length and fruit that follows the nose – cassis and red plum reduction – and cedar with a medium finish. A bit straightforward but well-fruited and with a nice length. 2025-2026–IR
