Medium garnet hue. Tertiary perfection on the nose, with cooked black fruit, blackberry, blackcurrant, forest floor and tobacco. This is providing delicious current drinking with its seamless blend of primary fruit – including cassis, menthol and blackberry – alongside grand old tertiary notes of forest floor, leather and tobacco. 2026-2028–MP

Deep ruby hue. An ambitious, concentrated wine with lashings of new oak that will need time to integrate fully with the fruit. Luckily, there's plenty of that on the palate, along with ripe, chalky tannins and enough acidity for balance.
