Fresh black cherries, violets and spice give lots of appeal. This is a full-bodied wine with plummy fruits mid palate which counter the spicy, grippy finish. Produced from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, a rarity in the Bordeaux region. The five-hectare vineyard at Daignac, owned by Véronique Barthe, was planted 20 years ago.
