Medium ruby hue. This is a delicious glass of wine, with a complex nose showing delightful primary notes of black cherry
and plum, secondary notes of baking spice and char, and tertiary notes of leather, dark chocolate and damp earth. Full-bodied and authoritative on the palate, with wonderful depth and layers of ripe black fruit including cherry, plum, berry and currant. Oak adds an extra dimension, and the finish is convincing. 2026-2028–MP
CHÂTEAU LAFON, AOC LISTRAC-MÉDOC, CRU BOURGEOIS, 2021
Fully mature nose with baked-fruit and tarry aromas, alongside blackcurrant, cherry, and plum. Oak brings vanilla and allspice on the palate, driving the whole, which is wrapped in firm tannins and supported by notes of bramble and blackcurrant. 2026-2027–MP

Medium ruby hue. Hearty stuff, with a nose of black cherry, blackberry, plum and damson allied to vanilla and cedar. There is plenty of crushed black fruit on the palate, well complemented by oaky vanilla and cinnamon, leading to a confident finish laden with ripe blackcurrant. 2026-2028–MP
