Pale orange hue. Orange wine is all the rage. This has seen a good dose of skin contact, which shows in its grippy phenolics. Flavour-wise, there is apricot, peach, candied citrus and orange blossom, the latter being the hallmark of Zibbibo (known elsewhere as Muscat of Alexandria, and easily one of the oldest varieties on the planet!). For such a relatively light wine, the concentration and length are impressive. 2027-2028 –JA.
