This Châteauneuf-du-Pape red pays homage to the original family estate, Domaine de Cigalons, established by Raoul Raymond in 1920. The 2022 vintage is full bodied and ripe-fruited with layers of jammy red berries, cherry, floral nuances and wild herbs. The palate is slightly more savoury, earthy and herbal. Finishes dry, with broad, structuring tannins. Needs a little time to harmonize. 2025-2035–JB
