These two wines, made from more than 60-year-old vines, combine beguiling, red-fruited character with firm tannin structure. The slightly bubble-gummy nose is the result of semi-carbonic maceration and the use of whole bunches
during fermentation, which are typical for Beaujolais. Yields always decrease when vines age, but the quality of the fruit keeps getting better, proving that vines can hit their stride in what is, metaphorically speaking, their retirement.
DOMAINE DE LA REVOL, CUVÉE VIEILLES VIGNES, AOP BEAUJOLAIS, PIERRES DORÉES, 2025
Deep purple hue. Fresh, juicy nose, with crushed blackberry, blueberry, black cherry and raspberry. Youthful on the
palate with a slight pétillance and flavours of black cherry, plum, red apple and wet stone. Finishes with plenty of vibrancy. 2026-2028–MP

DOMAINE DE LA REVOL, CUVÉE VIEILLES VIGNES, AOP BEAUJOLAIS, PIERRES DORÉES, 2024
Medium ruby hue. Seductive aromas of ripe raspberries and wild strawberries add depth to this somewhat rustic style typical of the region. The moderate body shows ripe yet firm tannins, its juicy fruitiness keeping the wine in good balance and suggesting simple but hearty pairings such as countryside terrine. 2026-2030–HM
