Granite slopes of 40-year-old bush vines give a weighty, concentrated expression to this attractive northern Rhône red. The nose is classic cool climate Syrah, with vibrant dark fruit over mingled black pepper, barnyard and graphite nuances. Aged for a year in 30% new oak, the palate is crisp and full-bodied, with cedar and spice hints and a dry, moderately tannic finish. 2024-2032–JB
