This Crozes-Hermitage Vieilles Vignes cuvée is produced from 55-year-old plantings of Syrah grown on pebbly clay-limestone soils. This is a full-bodied red with classic northern Rhône smoked, meaty undertones to the attractive dark fruit. The palate is taut and grippy with lip-smacking acidity.
