Tanguy Chevalier

From 30- to 50-year-old vines, with 50% Syrah, 40% Grenache and Mourvèdre. A deep opaque ruby in the glass. It leads with medium-plus intensity lifted aromas – a candied note, then prune spread, marigold/carnation, spice/ginger, tar and cold smoke tones. It is dry on the palate with a low yet adequate acidity, has a medium extract, medium fine-textured tannins and a medium body. The structure is completed by nice length and persistence of red and black plum spread, floral notes, cold smoke, ginger snaps, lees and game elements and a medium-plus finish. 2024-2028–IR
