Grape Variety

Viognier

A soft smooth Viognier with lemon and peach aromas leading to more white peaches on the palate. Broad in structure, it has a bitter citrus finish adding length. Domaine Peirière were one of the first domaines in the Languedoc to plant this variety. The vineyards are located on the plain between the river Aude and the Canal du Midi. Soils are clay, limestone and small stones.
