This gin uses distilled wine as its base alcohol. It is water-white in appearance. A gentle sniff reveals medium-intensity notes of lemon oil and essence, sap/herbs, vermouth-like bouquet, root beer, nutmeg and allspice. It has a soft and mellow entry - and stays mellow then warms up gently - a medium body, a nice presence and a replay of lemon oil, sap, herbs, root beer, nutmeg, plus pepper towards the herb- and spice-infused medium-plus finish.
