Manzanilla wines are aged exclusively under flor, like Fino sherries. However, they are produced and matured in the area of Sanlúcar de Barrameda, which is nearer the sea than Jerez. The difference in climate yields a lighter, more floral style of wine with the same bone-dry palate and lively finish. This is a pleasing example of the style with its discreet perfume of spring blossoms and fine texture. 2024-2026–JB
