Priorat, following the coast southwest from Barcelona, is a revered vineyard region for Grenache and Carignan blends. Its high altitude, rugged slopes and unique slate soils contribute to the production of potent, full-bodied wines. This intense, perfumed red wine has a high-toned, somewhat tart-fruited character on the palate that gives a lot of character but may be a little sharp for some. 2025-2032–JB
