Llumí Blanc, DO Terra Alta-OHS

Pale lemon-green - surprisingly youthful for this vintage. Light nose showing green apple, candle wax, white peach, guava and Honeydew melon. Still tight, this has notes of mandarin, grapefruit, guava, red apple and lemon pith. Exceptionally lively, mouthwatering acidity drives the finish with the citrus and stone fruit notes singing in harmony. There is surprising weight from the 13.5% ABV but the acidity takes it all in its stride. As curious as it may sound for a wine at this modest price point, it needs another year or two in the bottle! 2028-2031 – MP
