Deep ruby hue. Lovely nose, with pencil shavings, black cherry, sweet spice, cooked plum and crushed blackberry. A plush and generous example of this grape, showing layers of black fruit including cherry, currant and plum. Tannins are ripe and melded and the black fruit notes are supported by oaky spice including cinnamon, vanilla, coconut, cold ash and licorice. 2027-2032 – MP.
