Deep ruby hue. Clean, ripe, fragrant nose showing small black berries, black cherry, plum, menthol and licorice. Cabernet Franc is always a structured red, and this is no exception, with firm, chalky tannins and fresh acidity. The finish shows black-fruit notes of blackberry, cherry, and plum, with oak adding licorice and char. An austere but balanced example of Canadian Cabernet Franc. 2027-2029 – MP.
