As mad as a box of frogs, this needs to be appreciated in a large glass. The nose is like nothing else –an exuberant nosegay of wildflowers, herbs and cough drops. It's risky to actually like but impossible as well to deny this a place in the catalogue! The experiment with a hybrid variety under the 'experimental' appellation is at the very least a testimony to the spirit of adventure. It's full-throttle weirdness, and I don't mind if I do! 2027-2029 – MP
