SANGIOVESE GROSSO

The extended oak ageing shown in the garnet hue is reflected in the savoury nature of the nose, with sage and balsamic characters supplementing the ripe and developed strawberry notes. Smooth tannins are surrounded by vibrant and ripe fruit, making the mouth feel rich, with focused flavours of cooked strawberries, tapenade and thyme. Overall, this has the concentration and verve to age beautifully for the next 10 years. 2028-2038 – HM
