Deep garnet hue. WOW – this is a fabulous glass of exceptionally well-balanced, full-bodied New World red. Lovely nose, with eucalyptus, mint, black pepper, thyme, bay, black olive and hedgerow. Gorgeous mix of black fruit and pleasing vegetal notes on the palate – it’s got the power one would expect but the elegance that one wouldn't. Fine tannins and crisp acidity are allied to stacks of fruit, and together they drive a most satisfying finish that stays for almost a minute. Wonderful! 2026-2028 – MP
