Deep ruby hue. The nose offers hearty cooked black fruit, cold tea, strawberry jam, caramel and clove. The palate fleshes out impressively, with warming alcohol pitted against refreshing acidity and mature tannins. There's black pepper, raspberry jam, wild strawberry, cocoa powder and licorice, all driving a most satisfying finish at this price. 2026-2028 - MP
