The Honigsack cru in Herxheim am Berg is located on a southeast facing slope at just over 200 metres altitude. The diverse, limestone-rich soils here and ideal exposure produce top quality grapes. Piercing acidity gives a nervy, electric pulse to this medium-bodied Riesling. Lively citrus, orchard fruit and earthy flavours dominate. Finishes dry, with a pleasing zing of salinity. 2024-2029–JB
