Astonishing complexity for the price, this has a show-stopping array of red cherry, boysenberry, cooked cranberry, black cherry, blueberry, white pepper, vanilla, red apple, and mimosa on the nose. The palate is just as impressive with layers of crunchy red fruit including cranberry, cherry sweets, blueberry, jasmine and liquorice. It all comes together with coconut and clove from a brief spell in oak. The finish is endless and the natural acidity and ripe tannins add a judicious structural note. 2028-2032–MP
