A very deep ruby, opaque appearance followed by medium-intensity aromas of cream, red plum, wild strawberry preserve, toffee/chocolate chip cookie, ink and chokeberry; a ripe pomegranate emerges with some air. Next comes the palate: dry, with medium acidity, medium extract, medium fine soft-textured tannins, medium body and nice length and fruit of wild strawberry preserve, red plum, toffee and chokeberry flavours fading with a medium finish.
