Deep garnet hue. This N.V. blend of grapes, regions and vintages allows the team to fashion a vintage-consistent blend according to the best of what Mother Nature gives them. If this wine is anything to go by, She has been rather generous! The nose opens with a blast of tertiary notes including liquorice, tar, cooked blueberry and sandalwood before revealing blackberry, boysenberry, and black pepper. The balance is just perfect, and the fact that it is now ready to drink is a distinct bonus, with the melded tannins and complex fruit creating a lingering, harmonious finish. 2027-2029 – MP
