A light- to medium-bodied wine with appealing red cherry and sweet tobacco aromas. Produced from an unusual blend of 65% Merlot, 20% Sangiovese and 15% Pinot Noir. Sangiovese was grown in the nearby Torgiano area with Pinot Noir and Merlot grown on the hills overlooking Lake Trasimeno.
